These floral sandals by Alter Native were designed and manufactured using processes that drastically reduce their environmental impact. We love it when children's fashion combines a stylish look with an eco-responsible vision. These are, in fact, the founding values of the #BessonForChange movement. Completely aligned with these principles, Besson Chaussures focuses on eco-design and is working on eco-designed models in collaboration with MAOBI X ADEME for its Alternative brand. This process encompasses every aspect of the product through a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), including raw materials, manufacturing, packaging, end-of-life, and distribution. For its eco-designed shoes, Besson Chaussures uses recycled raw materials (polyester, cardboard, foam rubber, microfiber, rubber, cork, etc.) and, for leather, tanneries certified by the LWG (League for Working Group). This quality standard ensures transparency and traceability of tanneries as well as a reduction in water and hazardous substances. Besson Shoes' eco-design also encompasses numerous other criteria, such as the use of water-based glue, the elimination of plastic toe caps, and the subscription to green energy contracts, for example.
